In 4,102 Complete Collections On eBay I was interested in creating a collection of collections, a kind of snap-shot  of material goods that reflects certain values and needs as a society.

Over a period of four months I chose to appropriate photographs of collections that were posted for sale on eBay by using the keywords "complete collection." In order to give each collection equal treatment I decided to use a grid as the organizing principle and means of display.
